Regimental Charter
North West 15th Arkansas Volunteer Infantry
Army of the Trans-Mississippi
Confederate States of America
We represent Confederate Army units which were raised in North West Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma and who fought in battles in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Mississippi and other theaters of the War Between the States.
The NW 15th Arkansas Volunteer Infantry participates in Living History Events, public education, social gatherings and in re-creations of battles and skirmishes fought in the Western Theater. Our members participate as individuals in other Civil War reenactments, such as Gettysburg, Nashville, and Vicksburg. While the Company primarily portrays Confederate units in battle, we are prepared to portray United States troops when necessary to ensure the quality, integrity and authenticity of the reenactment.
We seek to re-create history and to re-live it as well. Thus, we live as the soldiers of the period did, eat the same foods, and seek to learn more about that period in our Nation's past.
Reenacting requires a good bit of time and money. Each soldier represents from $700 to over $1,000 invested in uniforms and equipment. Cavalry and Artillery require even more. If you would like further information on our unit, you may write to us at this address:

We appreciate your interest and look forward to hearing from you.
